Ravens Jersey Color: Purple | Injury Report
The Baltimore Ravens, now 5-4, host the Indianapolis Colts, winners of 18 consecutive regular season games and a 9-0 record this year, this Sunday, Nov. 22, at M&T Bank Stadium. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. This is the 6th time in the last 7 games that the Ravens are playing a team in 1st place in a division.
Prior to this week’s game against the Colts, the Ravens had faced 3 consecutive opponents coming off byes. Now, in the “short” week following a Monday night contest, the Ravens face a team that has won 18 straight. After playing the Steelers on 11/29, the Ravens go to Green Bay, which will have 11 days to prepare after playing on Thanksgiving, for another Monday nighter (12/7).
The Ravens recorded their 1st shutout in 3 seasons when they blanked the host Browns, 16-0, at Cleveland Browns Stadium last Monday night. Baltimore’s 2 TDs came on RB Ray Rice’s 13-yard run and SS Dawan Landry’s 48-yard INT off QB Brady Quinn.
Including a 15-6 playoff loss on 1/13/07, the Ravens have dropped 6 consecutive games to Indianapolis, including a 31-3 loss last season at Lucas Oil Stadium. Two years ago (12/9/07), the Colts won in Baltimore, 44-20.
Following the Colts game, the Ravens will host the Steelers on 11/29 before playing at the Packers on 12/7. Baltimore will host the Lions and Bears on 12/13 and 12/20, respectively.
