This 200,000-square-foot training facility features a brick and stone exterior. The field house is 90,000 square feet and includes a strength-training area and a full-size indoor practice field. The new headquarters, outdoor practice fields and field house on 32 acres was completed in October 2004. Almost all of the construction work on the project was done by Baltimore-area companies and workers.
The facility includes a full-service kitchen, cafeteria, player support functions, basketball and racquetball courts and TV studio, plus state-of-the-art requirements for NFL training. There are executive offices, meeting rooms, media areas, 3 outdoor fields and a full-length indoor practice field.
"Everything a team needs to help prepare it to win is available to us. Steve (Bisciotti) delivered a first-class, state-of-the-art training facility and office complex," general manager Ozzie Newsome says.
Approximately 200 Ravens are housed at the Owings Mills headquarters. The ticket office and stadium staff remain at M&T Bank Stadium.
Baltimore was the 3rd NFL team to select Clayco to build their new facility; others include the Atlanta Falcons and St. Louis Rams.
