In order to add depth to the offensive line, the Ravens promoted guard/center Ikechuku Ndukwe and tackle Mike Kracalik from the practice squad to the active roster.

Kicker Rhys Lloyd and running back Cory Ross were waived to clear room on the 53-man list.

Kracalik, a 6-foot-8, 337-pound lineman, spent the 2006 campaign on Baltimore's practice squad, seeing action in the season finale on special teams. He will serve as insurance against yet another Ravens tackle going down this weekend against the St. Louis Rams.

Signing Kracalik to the active roster points to the notion of 10-time Pro Bowler Jonathan Ogden sitting out another contest. Ogden started in Baltimore's first contest in Cincinnati, but he was removed after one quarter due to a toe injury that had hampered him all offseason. The toe and a sprained foot have kept the 12-year veteran on the game day inactive list in Weeks 2-5.

The Ravens lost center Mike Flynn with a sprained knee last week against the San Francisco 49ers. While Chris Chester stepped in to finish the game, the 6-foot-4, 338-pound Ndukwe will provide depth at the position.

Ndukwe switched to center in training camp after playing in five games for the Ravens at guard last season.
