Baltimore was recently named "America's Best Football Tailgating City" in a survey released by mobile satellite TV manufacturer KVH Industries Inc. and satellite TV provider DirecTV. The survey, in its first year, took into account stadium parking lots, overall tailgating environment, enthusiasm from fans and the sales of tailgate-oriented accessories.

The rankings were conducted by the self-proclaimed "Commissioner of Tailgating" Joe Cahn, and Andrew Kulyk and Peter Farrell, who spent four years traveling to every major sports franchise city in the country and attending a home game of each team. Denver ranked No. 2 in the final standings, while Houston rounded out the top tier at No. 3.

Ravens fans, don't forget to sign up for the Tailgaters E-Newsletter, the official newsletter for the NFL's top tailgating fans. You will receive recipes and stories from the parking lots of M&T Bank Stadium, as well as exclusive promotional offers.

Do you have a recipe worthy of being a No. 1 tailgater, one that people almost anticipate as much as the game on Sundays? Share it with the Ravens and we will feature the best on BalitmoreRavens.com in the Tailgaters webpage.
