Team Statement on CB Derrick Martin

Ravens cornerback Derrick Martin was not given a citation or summons when he was stopped at the Cleveland Airport and was charged with possessing marijuana in a carry-on bag. However, Derrick is being sent a citation. He has a court appearance on July 15, and he does not have to appear if he pays the $100 fine. He can also contest.

The team offered this statement: “We are aware of the situation with Derrick, and we have talked with him about this. There is a due process taking place, and we are following that.”
