For ten years members of the Baltimore Ravens have hosted the best Halloween party in all of Maryland and this year is no exception with the addition of new host Michael Oher and the return of long time hosts Todd Heap and Mark Clayton.

This year’s Gridiron event will be held on October 26, 2009, from 7 p.m. until Midnight, at Dave & Buster’s in Arundel Mills Mall. Proceeds from the event will benefit Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake, Inc.

The Halloween costume party and silent auction will feature Baltimore Ravens along with many from the area business community.

“It is great to team up with Goodwill one more time,” said Heap. “They are known for helping people find jobs, and I’m happy to do anything I can to help.” Last October, partygoers played video games, bid on auction items, played pool, bowled, and danced the night away at Dave & Buster’s.

This year items to be auctioned include Ravens autographed memorabilia, game tickets, golf outings, vacations and other fantastic items. “It’s great to co-host this event,” said Clayton “The cause is great and it’s a wonderful way to have fun and support the community.”

As for Michael Oher he is excited to see all the crazy costumes that people wear at the event (including some very imaginative costumes from his own teammates).

Tickets are $150 for individuals and $250 per couple. Costumes are optional. Corporate sponsorships are also available. For more information or to order tickets by phone, call               410-837-1800         410-837-1800 (x141) or log on to www.goodwillches.org.

In 2007, Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake, Inc. provided training, employment, and family support services to approximately 5,000 individuals with disabilities or other disadvantaging conditions. In addition Goodwill assisted over 2,200 individuals in securing permanent and temporary employment. Clients receive skills training classes in several different career fields including computer/clerical, hospitality, nursing, and retail.
