The Baltimore Ravens have waived LB Jason Phillips and signed DB Danny Gorrer from their practice squad to the 53-man roster.
Gorrer, a 6-foot, 185-pounder, is a second-year player out of Texas A&M. He signed with the Ravens as a free agent in 2010 and spent the majority of the season on the practice squad.
Gorrer originally signed with the New Orleans Saints as a rookie free agent in 2009. He has seen action in three NFL games – all with the St. Louis Rams – making one start on Dec. 27, 2009 against Arizona.
