Lenny Moore

Lenny Moore played wide receiver and running back for the Baltimore Colts from 1956-67. He remains a regular presence at the Ravens’ training facility, watching practice and imparting wisdom to current players. Moore, who was inducted to the Hall of Fame in 1975, retired ninth all-time in the NFL with 12,451 combined yards. His distinctive career also includes being All-NFL for five years, playing in seven Pro Bowls and being named the NFL Player of the Year and Comeback Player of the Year in 1964, after scoring 20 TDs.

• Led the club in rushing with 1,069 carries for 5,174 yards and 63 TDs
• Brought in 363 receptions for 6,039 yards and 48 TDs
• Played in 143 games in his career, recording a total of 678 career points on 113 TDs
• Has the distinction of not only being the No. 1 draft choice in 1956, but also being named Rookie of Year
• From 1963-65, Moore scored touchdowns in a record 18 straight games, 11 consecutive via rush.
• In the Colts’ 1958 NFL Championship victory of the New York Giants, Moore caught five passes for 99 yards.
