MEDIA POLICIES
(for accredited media only)
Player Access: Select players will be made available in a podium setting on a weekly basis. Additionally, players will be available for interviews during the open locker room session following the morning “walk through” on Wednesday and Thursday and following practice on Friday. Coaches and players are not available for interviews on Tuesday. It is recommended that all interview requests be made at least 24 hours in advance and be submitted to Director of Media Relations Chad Steele (chad.steele@ravens.nfl.net) or Public/Media Relations Manager Patrick Gleason (patrick.gleason@ravens.nfl.net).
Head Coach/Coordinator Access: Coach Harbaugh will be available at the podium on Monday at 4:00 p.m. (in the team meeting room) and Wednesday after the walk-through and Friday after practice. Offensive Coordinator Cam Cameron, Defensive Coordinator Chuck Pagano and Special Teams Coordinator/Assistant Head Coach Jerry Rosburg will address media members in a podium session each Thursday.
Photos and Video: Still photography and videotaping are only allowed during individual position drills or when players are entering the practice fields. (This includes the special teams' portion of practice.)
Tactical Information: The Ravens ask that nothing of a tactical nature be reported. This includes any information that can help an opponent prepare to beat the Ravens. Formations, who is lining up where, who is rushing the quarterback (and from where), gimmick plays, etc. are included in tactical information.
Injuries: If an injury occurs during the media viewing part of practice, it can be reported. Detailing who is lining up at what position, even when it appears that a player is subbing for an injured player, is considered tactical information.
Mobile Devices: No reporting devices are allowed at practice. This includes cell phones, Blackberries, iPhones, iPads and laptops.
Practice Re-Entry: There is also no re-entry to the open part of any practice. In other words, if a media member leaves the practice area to go inside and report, including Tweeting, that reporter cannot return to practice.
