Jeff Goering, who joined the club in October 1999, is the Ravens’ chief financial officer. He oversees all functions of the finance department, including the organization’s financial reporting and budgeting processes, and is also the chief financial liaison with the club’s audit/tax advisors and various stadium partners.
1999-2007: (with Baltimore) 2006: Promoted to chief financial officer, handling many of the same duties he held as senior director. 2004: Goering was named the team’s senior director of finance when Steve Bisciotti assumed full ownership of the team in April. 1999-2003: Spent his 1st 5 years with the Ravens as the team’s controller, supervising the finance staff, as well as preparing financial statements, coordinating financial audits and administering the budget process for the club. 1999: Joined the Ravens in October.
1997-99: (with PricewaterhouseCoopers) Was a senior consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Dallas...Worked with a number of sports facilities, preparing financial feasibility studies, market assessments and economic impact analyses for proposed new or expanded sports facilities. 1998: Finalized his master’s of science in sports management from the University of Massachusetts.
1996-97: (with University of Massachusetts) Was a graduate assistant for the UMass Athletic Department Business Office...Was a consultant in the evaluation and preparation of Boston Red Sox salary arbitration cases.
1991-95: (with Ernst & Young) Was an audit senior at Ernst & Young in Kansas City, MO, and supervised financial statement audits for various clients, including manufacturing, telecommunications and government organizations.
COLLEGE: Graduated with a B.S. in business administration from Rockhurst (Kansas City, MO) University (1991)...Was a varsity basketball player at Rockhurst.
