Countdown To Kickoff

The 5th annual Ravens Countdown to Kickoff Luncheon will be held on the field at M&T Bank Stadium. Head Coach John Harbaugh will introduce the 2008 Ravens as a team and then share his thoughts on the upcoming season.

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3

This is the night to get your swimsuit calendar signed! Join all 18 calendar girls at Hightopps Backstage Grille in Timonium for the inaugural Swimsuit Calendar Launch Party from 6-9pm. This is the first time all 18 girls will be signing the 2008-2009 calendar. Don’t have a calendar yet? Buy one at the event for just $14.99, and get it signed by all your favorite cheerleaders (before 8pm)!

As the NFL season kicks off, join your fellow Ravens fans from 6pm-12am at Power Plant Live for a night of football and rock entertainment. The Ravens and Miller Lite are proud to present Trapt with Egypt Central who will perform a FREE concert while fans celebrate the kickoff of the 2008 NFL season with Ravens cheerleaders, mascots, 98 Rock talent and more. WBAL will be doing a LIVE to tape broadcast from 6-7pm at the Power Plant LIVE plaza. Though the Trapt concert is FREE, space is limited, so get there early!

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5

The Ravens open the 2008 season at home, and we need everyone’s help to paint the town purple. Show your spirit and spend September 5th decked-out in your Ravens gear or proudly displaying Ravens team colors. Also, be sure to head out that night for “Purple Power Hour” where the hottest bars in the city will feature great Miller Lite specials and visits from Ravens cheerleaders and mascots. SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 6

The Orioles will kick off the start of the NFL season by hosting a Ravens Rally at Oriole Park on Saturday, September 6, prior to their 7:05 p.m. game against the Oakland Athletics. The Ravens begin their 2008 campaign against the Cincinnati Bengals the next day at neighboring M&T Bank Stadium. The first 15,000 fans ages 15 and over will receive a limited edition Ravens Rally t-shirt presented by MASN.
