SAUSAGE & PEPPERS

 
 

Ingredients:
» 8 Links Premio sausage
» 6 Green Peppers
» 3 Medium Onions
» 4 Medium Cloves Garlic
» 2 Tbsp. Dried or fresh chopped parsley
» 2 Tbsp. Dried or fresh chopped basil
» Salt & pepper to taste
» 16 oz Crushed Tomatoes

 
 


Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Wash peppers, core and remove seeds. into 1” strips. Slice onions and set aside. In baking pan bake sausage approximately 45 minutes turning to brown evenly. Add peppers, onions, garlic, parsley, basil, salt & pepper and crushed tomatoes. Bake for an additional 35 minutes until peppers are fork tender.

BARBECUED RIBS with 3 HEINZ SAUCES

 
 

Ingredients:
» 4 pounds pork back ribs or side ribs
» Chopped gingerroot to taste
» 1/4 cup Heinz® Tomato Ketchup
» 1/4 cup Heinz 57® Sauce
» 1/4 cup Heinz® Worcestershire Sauce
» 1/4 cup dark soy sauce
» 1/4 cup white wine or vermouth
» 1/2 tsp. sesame oil
» 2 tbsp. cornstarch
» 1 tbsp. minced garlic
» 1 tbsp. chopped gingerroot
» 1 tbsp. sugar
» 2 tbsp. chopped green onions
» 1-1/2 tsp. pepper

 
 


Directions:
Cut the ribs into single rib portions. Combine with water to cover and with a generous amount of gingerroot in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook for 30 minutes or until the ribs are tender; drain and cool the ribs. Combine the remaining ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Add the ribs and marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or longer. Grill the ribs to the desired degree of doneness.
