Smith was injured as he chased after running back Charcandrick West on his 38-yard touchdown. West outran him to the end zone, and Smith limped off the field and went right to the medical staff. They took him to the locker room and he was ruled out a few minutes later.
Head Coach John Harbaugh did not have an update on his status after the game.

“We had guys to come in and step up,” cornerback Lardarius Webb said. “Jumal Rolle came in, played good. We’ve got Shareece here and I thought he came in and did an awesome job when Jimmy [Smith] went down.”
