The Ravens have 11 players set to become unrestricted free agents, and we will provide a breakdown for each of them heading into the start of the new league year on March 9.
Let’s continue the series with defensive end ![]()
2016 stats: 10 starts, 28 tackles, one sack, one forced fumble
Overview
Guy has been an under-the-radar contributor in Baltimore’s defense for the past three seasons. He was used as mostly a rotational player in 2015 behind Chris Canty, and put up a career-high 4.5 sacks and 46 tackles. Guy started 10 games last year, but saw his numbers dip both in tackles and sacks. Still, he was a piece of Baltimore’s run-stuffing defense that finished No. 5 in the NFL.
Why Ravens Should Keep Him
Baltimore’s first priority on defense is stopping the run, and Guy is a reliable and flexible player to get that done. Guy likely won’t break the bank on the open market, and the Ravens know what they’re going to get with him. At 26 years old, Guy could still be on his way up.
Why Guy May Walk
The Ravens have other, cheaper options to step in at defensive end. ![]()
