Injury Update On Jimmy Smith

Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith has a 'good chance' to play this week against the Steelers.

Finally some good news on the injury front.

Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith’s thigh injury isn’t too serious.

Smith left Sunday’s game after the Kansas City Chiefs’ opening drive. Smith seemed to suffer the injury while trying to chase down running back Charcandrick West on a 38-yard touchdown run.

But the injury may not hold Smith out of any more action.

“Jimmy has a good chance [of returning Sunday],” Harbaugh told reporters Monday. “I just talked to him and I think he’s got a good chance to play, so we’ll see how it goes this week.”

After missing the final eight games of last season due to a foot injury, Smith has started every game this year.
