Jah Reid Inactive With Toe Injury

Posted Jan 6, 2013

The Ravens could have to shuffle their offensive line with Reid out.

The Ravens will have do some shuffling along their offensive line Sunday, as starting left guard Jah Reid is inactive for Sunday's wild-card game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Reid was a limited participant in practice all week with a toe injury. With him down, the Ravens could re-insert veteran Bobbie Williams in the starting lineup.

The Ravens could also shuffle the offensive line by putting veteran Bryant McKinnie at left tackle, which would likely slide Michael Oher to right tackle and Kelechi Osemele to left guard.

Reid is the only surprise inactive, as the Ravens are relatively healthy after resting a number of starters last week against the Bengals.

Ray Lewis, Bernard Pollard, Haloti Ngata, and Terrell Suggs are all active after sitting last week.

Lewis returns to the lineup for the first time when he tore his triceps in Week 6, and Sunday will mark the first time this season that he and Suggs take the field together this season. Sunday's game will be the final game for Lewis at M&T Bank Stadium, as he announced this week that he will retire after the season.

Offensively, fullback Vonta Leach (ankle, knee) and right guard Marshal Yanda (shoulder, knee) are both active after dealing with injuries this week. Leach went down with an injury on the second play of last week's game, and his practice time was limited this week. Yanda sat out last week's game and the Pro Bowler was limited in practice all week.

The Ravens also get wide receiver Tandon Doss back in the lineup this week after he missed the last three games with an ankle injury.

The scratches for the Ravens are safety Omar Brown, cornerback Chris Johnson, linebacker Adrian Hamilton, offensive lineman Ramon Harewood and wide receiver Deonte Thompson.

The Colts are also going to be without a starting lineman, as guard Joe Reitz (head) is inactive this week. Jeff Linkenbach will start in place of Reitz.

The other scratches for the Ravens are wide receiver Nathan Palmer, cornerback Teddy Williams, safety Delano Howell, running back Delone Carter, defensive tackle Kellen Heard and tackle Tony Hills.
