Jeremy Zuttah, Eugene Monroe Playing vs. Jaguars

Posted Nov 15, 2015

The center's 64-game streak looks like it will continue against Jacksonville.

Jeremy Zuttah’s consecutive games played streak will reach 65 as the Ravens center is active for Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Zuttah was dealing with a shoulder injury over the bye and throughout the week that knocked him out of the Ravens’ Week 8 game against the Chargers. He was listed as questionable to play.

In his eighth season, Zuttah has the fifth-longest consecutive games played streak among NFL interior offensive linemen.

Without Zuttah, the Ravens had issues with shotgun snaps with backup center John Urschel.

The Ravens starting left tackle Eugene Monroe is also active after missing the  last game with a shoulder injury. Monroe practiced fully throughout the week and was listed as probable to face his former team. That means James Hurst will be back on the sideline.

Baltimore’s inactives are wide receiver Joe Morgan, cornerback Tray Walker (concussion), safety Terrence Brooks, offensive lineman Ryan Jensen, defensive end Kapron Lewis-Moore, wide receiver Breshad Perriman (knee) and tackle De’Ondre Wesley.

Morgan was added to the team before the bye and has done well learning the system, but is a healthy scratch for his first game as a Raven.

The Ravens’ five active receivers are Kamar Aiken, Chris Givens, Jeremy Ross, Marlon Brown and Jeremy Butler. It’s Butler’s NFL debut as the former undrafted player out of Tennessee-Martin has spent most of his career on injured reserve and the practice squad.

In unfortunate news for the Ravens, Jaguars wide receivers Allen Hurns and Marquise Lee are both active, putting additional stress on Baltimore’s secondary.

Hurns rehabbed a thigh bruise and foot sprain throughout the week. The starting wideout has 36 receptions for 635 yards and six touchdowns. Lee, a second-round pick last year, has been out since Week 3 with a hamstring injury and will likely be the Jags’ No. 3 receiver.
