John Harbaugh Friday Press Conference

Opening statement:"Good to see everybody – appreciate you guys being here. We had a good practice, and all eyes are looking toward Sunday."

How has S Matt Elam looked the past couple of weeks? Do you feel ready to activate him? (Luke Jones)"He's healthy. He could do it. It's just a matter of whether we decide to do it this week or not, in terms of is he 'football ready' to play in a game, then, physically and mentally ready to play well in a game."

We didn't see WR Steve Smith Sr., but I guess he practiced yesterday in a limited basis. Where is he in his development? (Jeff Zrebiec)"He has practiced limited. That's what it is, and had a limited practice again today. We'll just see where he is."

Has this injury lingered a little bit longer than you thought? (Jerry Coleman) "I didn't have any expectations for it beforehand. I just wait for the trainers to say [something], and the player, of course. It's that type of a thing, too. When everybody says the player is ready to go, we put him out there. That's how we do it."

If WR Steve Smith Sr. gives you the green light, says he's ready to go and is cleared, will he be on the field? (Jerry Coleman) "Sure, of course. Of course."

What is it going to take to get TE Darren Waller more involved? Have you seen the progress from him? Would it be big to get him involved? (Jeff Zrebiec)"It would be. He's obviously a big, talented guy. We're working very hard toward that. We want to get him involved. He's coming from ground zero, really, as a tight end. He missed the first four weeks of the season. We're working very hard at it. He's playing. He's been active. We sure would like to get him involved. That's something we want to be able to do."
