Kelechi Osemele Returns, Eugene Monroe Out vs. Dolphins

Posted Dec 6, 2015

The Ravens will also be without rookie tight end Maxx Williams and wide receiver Marlon Brown.

The Ravens will get one piece from the left side of their offensive line back in the lineup Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.

Left guard Kelechi Osemele is active and expected to start after missing the last two games with a knee injury.

Left tackle Eugene Monroe, however, is out for his second game in a row with a shoulder injury. James Hurst will start in Monroe’s place and make his sixth start of the season. Hurst has actually played more reps than Monroe this season because the starter has been so banged up with injuries.

The other injury-related inactives for the Ravens are wide receiver Marlon Browns (back) and tight end Maxx Williams (concussion). Brown was doubtful coming into the weekend and the Ravens had already ruled out Williams on Friday.

Healthy scratches for the Ravens are defensive linemen Carl Davis and Kapron Lewis-Moore, cornerback Tray Walker and offensive lineman Kaleb Johnson.

With Williams out this week, the Ravens have only Crockett Gillmore and Nick Boyle as the healthy tight ends. They have plenty of depth at receiver despite Brown’s injury, as undrafted rookie Daniel Brown is active for the second game in a row.

The Dolphins had some lingering questions on the injury front coming into the game, but they will have two key players active for the matchup. Pro Bowl center Mike Pouncey is active despite a foot injury that limited him during the week, and starting wide receiver Kenny Stills (ankle) will also play. Stills was questionable on the final injury report.

The inactives for Miami are right tackle Ja’Wuan James, wide receiver Rishard Matthews, defensive tackle Earl Mitchell, center Jacques McClendon, cornerback Jamar Taylor, linebacker Chris McCain and offensive tackle John Ulrick.
