M&T Bank Stadium Experience Ranked No. 1 In NFL

Posted Jan 17, 2017

The overall stadium experience for Ravens games was recognized at No. 14 in all of North American sports.

There’s no better place to watch an NFL game than M&T Bank Stadium.

That was the conclusion from a team of writers at Stadium Journey, who visited 761 North American sporting venues over the last year and ranked M&T Bank Stadium as the best in the NFL, and No. 14 in all of sports.

Baltimore seems to have a knack for delivering top-notch stadium experiences, as Oriole Park at Camden Yards ranks No. 1 overall.

“The Baltimore Ravens handle the operations of their franchise outstandingly well and M&T Bank Stadium displays that effort with pride,” Scout.com’s Paul Swaney wrote. “The fans who attend games at M&T Bank Stadium will always have a memorable gameday experience and get good value.”

The Ravens are also making significant investments to keep M&T Bank Stadium at the top of the league.

The franchise has spent about $45 million improving the stadium over the past four years, including major updates on all levels of the concourse. The Ravens will spend an additional $120 million over the next two-and-half years to add escalators and elevators, upgrade the video boards and make other improvements.

“The newly spent renovations and additions have made the purple colors and signage seem consistent, and scream out RAVENS at all points,” Swaney wrote.

Ravens games have consistently sold out since the team moved into M&T Bank Stadium in 1998, and there is currently a wait list to purchase season tickets. Fans interested in purchasing a Permanent Seat License can join the team’s current wait list.
