Baltimore added a very experienced offensive tackle to its practice squad Wednesday afternoon.
The Ravens cut third-string quarterback 
Hills, 30, was an original fourth-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2008. He spent four years in Pittsburgh and played in four games in his final season there in 2010. He then went to Denver, Indianapolis, Buffalo, Oakland, Miami, Dallas and Carolina.
Hills saw his most action in Indianapolis in 2012, when he suited up for six games and started one. The Texas product played in three games for the Cowboys last year.
Baltimore only had one offensive tackle, De’Ondre Wesley, on the practice squad previously.
Renner was one of the feel-good stories of training camp, as he was working at a golf course a year earlier.
He flashed in the preseason, particularly in the first game when he drove the Ravens down the field in the final minutes and dove across the goal line with two seconds remaining for the game-winning score. Renner also performed well when playing the majority of the fourth preseason game in Atlanta, going 18-for-24 for 128 yards and two touchdowns.
The Ravens will not carry a third quarterback for now.
