The Ravens announced a round of roster cuts Friday afternoon but still have to make more moves to get down to the 53-man limit by late Saturday afternoon, the league deadline for finalizing rosters.
The team waived 11 players, including veteran running back Anthony Allen and quarterback Caleb Hanie, and placed rookie linebacker
The moves thinned the Ravens’ roster from 75 to 63 players, but they need to make 10 more moves to get down to the league limit.

The releases of Allen and Carter likely hands a roster spot to
Copeland, an undrafted rookie, was a local product, having played his high school ball at Gilman. He intercepted a pass in the preseason but was squeezed out at a position where the Ravens are especially deep.
Anthony was a seventh-round pick in the 2013 draft.
