The injury count continues to rise for the Ravens this summer.
Last week the offensive line was hit hard and barely had enough players left to finish the game. The injury bug flipped over to the defensive line Saturday night against the Washington Redskins.

The injury to Jernigan is most alarming because he’s a critical piece in the middle of the defense. He’s tasked with replacing perennial Pro Bowler Haloti Ngata, and the Ravens expect him to be a three-down lineman.
Jernigan has also dealt with injuries throughout his young career, including a knee injury that sidelined him for four games last season. It’s unclear if the injury he suffered Saturday is to the same knee.
This year’s training camp and preseason have taken a toll on the Ravens, as they’ve had key players go down on both sides of the ball.
