It's been a wild week for 
After an uneven preseason finale last Thursday in Atlanta, the cornerback and returner was one of the Ravens’ final 53-man roster cuts on Saturday.
He was iommediately claimed by the New York Giants off waivers, but they only kept him for two days. Jackson never even put on a Giants uniform before being released on Tuesday.

Jackson cleared waivers this time, and the Ravens came calling. The new practice squad rules this year allow for players with more experience. Jackson has three years in the league and has played in 14 games.

Baltimore waived undrafted rookie wide receiver Daniel Brown, who made a pair of touchdown catches and blocked a punt in the preseason, to make room for Jackson.
Adding Jackson gives the Ravens more depth at cornerback and provides another option at returner if Baltimore needs one. The Ravens now have two experienced returners on the practice squad with Jackson and wide receiver
Jackson showed his game-breaking potential as a returner with a 103-yard kickoff return and 53-yard punt return this preseason
However, he also shot himself in the foot. He was caught at the 2-yard line on the long kickoff return against Washington and tripped when he had only the punter to beat on his punt return in Atlanta. He also muffed one punt and fumbled during another punt return.
Now Jackson has another chance to prove he can not only secure the football, but a job with the Ravens.
