With a losing record, the Ravens have been unsurprisingly flexed out of Sunday Night Football on Dec. 13.
Baltimore will now face the Seattle Seahawks at 1 p.m. at M&T Bank Stadium. The game will be broadcast by FOX.
The NFL announced the move Sunday night. The league has instead moved the Week 14 Patriots-Texans game to Sunday Night Football’s 8:30 p.m. primetime slot.
The Patriots have the second-best record in football at 10-1 and the Texans have been one of the hottest teams in the league with four straight wins to get them to 6-5 and in the thick of the AFC playoff picture.
It also showcases a matchup of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and Texans defensive end J.J. Watt, two of the biggest stars in the game.
The Ravens-Seahawks game will be a matchup of two Super Bowl champions from the past three seasons, but both teams have had some struggles this season. The Ravens are 3-7 and the Seahawks are 6-5, and Baltimore has lost many of its biggest names to injuries.
The Ravens still have one more primetime game after tonight’s clash with the Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football, although it could also be flexed. Baltimore is scheduled to host the rival Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football on Dec. 27. The NFL will make a decision on the timing of that game in two weeks.
