The Ravens added a pair of wide receivers following 
Baltimore officially signed wide receivers Joe Morgan and Chuck Jacobs Wednesday morning. Morgan will be on the 53-man roster and Jacobs is headed to the practice squad.
Morgan takes Smith’s spot on the roster, as the veteran has been moved to injured reserve. The Ravens released tight end
Morgan, 27, is a former New Orleans Saint who first came to the team as an undrafted rookie out of Walsh in 2011. He’s notched 14 catches for 471 yards and three touchdowns during that time.
The 6-foot-1, 184-pound target has big-play ability, however, and the Ravens have seen it firsthand. Last season, Morgan had a 62-yard catch and 67-yard run against Baltimore on Monday Night Football from New Orleans.
For a taste of what he can bring to the table, Morgan had this amazing 48-yard touchdown catch against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2012.
Jacobs is in his third NFL season and is a former undrafted rookie out of Utah State. The 6-foot-0, 178-pound former San Francisco 49er has not played in any regular-season games. His best preseason came in 2013 when he caught a pair of touchdowns in four games.
