The Ravens won’t have Pro Bowl right guard Marshal Yanda on the field for Thursday night’s matchup with the Cleveland Browns at M&T Bank Stadium.

Yanda was the biggest injury question coming into the evening after he missed practice all week with a shoulder injury and was officially listed as doubtful to play.

The veteran lineman has been dealing with the shoulder issue for the last month. He missed games against the Giants and Jets in Weeks 7-8, but then returned to the field Sunday against the Steelers.

It’s unknown whether he had a setback in that game against Pittsburgh, or whether he just didn’t have enough time to recover in the short week. Yanda’s absence continues a frustrating trend for the offensive line, which has been hindered for much of the season. The group has played just four games at full strength this year, which are also the four games Baltimore has won. 

With Yanda out, the Ravens will turn to John Urschel or Vladimir Ducasse to get the start.

The other inactives for Baltimore are cornerback Shareece Wright (thigh), tight end Crockett Gillmore (thigh), linebackers Elvis Dumveril (foot) and Kamalei Correa (thigh), offensive lineman Ryan Jensen and defensive lineman Willie Henry. None of those scratches is particularly surprising because the Ravens had already ruled out Wright, Gillmore, Dumervil and Correa on Wednesday.

Wright has been dealing with the thigh issue for the last few weeks, and rookie Tavon Young has stepped up in his absence. Young has seized the starting cornerback spot opposite Jimmy Smith, and he will likely spend much of the night matched up against Browns rookie receiver Corey Coleman, who put up a pair of touchdowns against Baltimore in Week 2.

The most significant scratch for the Browns is starting cornerback Jamar Taylor (groin).

Cleveland’s other inactives are quarterback Joe Callahan, linebacker Corey Lemonier, offensive linemen Gabe Ikar and Johnathan Cooper, wide receiver Jordan Payton and defensive lineman Zavier Cooper.
