Mallett last started a game with the Houston Texans on Oct. 8 against Indianapolis. He went 7-for-10 for 50 yards before being replaced by Brian Hoyer.
Known for his strong arm, Mallett’s best game this season was against the Buccaneers in Week 3 when he was 24-of-39 for 228 yards with one touchdown and one interception.
