The Caw: John Harbaugh's Red Carpet Performance

John Harbaugh reenacted the famous 1980 Olympics ‘Miracle On Ice’ call.


We all know John Harbaugh is quite the historian.

But that’s not just limited to American or world history.

While at the 3rd Annual NFL Honors show to accept the Salute To Service award, Harbaugh was asked by AwfulAnnouncing.com to reenact his favorite sports broadcasting call of all time.

Harbaugh was the only NFL luminary who had the guts to go on camera with his version, according to Amanda Rykoff. Harbaugh broke out Al Michaels’ historic 1980 Olympics “Miracle on Ice” call.

It’s a good choice, but considering I wasn’t even born yet when Michaels made that call, I’m choosing one that hits a little closer to home. I will stay with the miracles theme though.

I’m going for my guy Qadry Ismail on the “Mile High Miracle.” His screams of joy still send chills down my spine.

And no, I don’t have the guts to do it on camera.
