Who's Playing, Who's Not vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Posted Dec 29, 2017

Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin is doubtful to play after missing the entire week of practice. Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict is also doubtful.

It looks like the Ravens may be without starting wide receiver Jeremy Maclin for the second week in a row.

The veteran wideout missed the entire week of practice as he continues to deal with a knee injury, and he is officially listed as doubtful to play. Maclin hasn’t practiced since getting injured against the Cleveland Browns in Week 15.

Head Coach John Harbaugh said earlier in the week that Maclin would have a “chance” to play Sunday, but it would depend on how he progressed throughout the week.

If Maclin is out, then Chris Moore, Michael Campanaro and Breshad Perriman would likely have increased roles. Campanaro had a strong game last week in Maclin’s absence, catching a touchdown and drawing a pair of critical pass interference penalties.

The Ravens also moved undrafted rookie receiver Quincy Adeboyejo up from the practice squad this week, and he could make his NFL debut.

Baltimore doesn’t have any other major injury concerns. Wide receiver Mike Wallace (knee), defensive tackle Brandon Williams (back), right tackle Austin Howard (knee), fullback Patrick Ricard (neck) and offensive guard Jermaine Eluemunor (shoulder) are all listed as questionable after being limited in practice during the week.

Wallace, Williams and Howard all practiced fully Friday, which is a good sign in terms of their availability.

Burfict Doubtful to Play

The Bengals may be without starting linebacker Vontaze Burfict, who is dealing with a shoulder injury. He suffered the injury last week against the Detroit Lions and was knocked out of the game. He did not practice at all this week.

Playing without the hard-hitting linebacker would be a significant blow to Cincinnati’s defense.

The Bengals also ruled out starting left tackle Cedric Ogbuehi (shoulder). Running back Joe Mixon (ankle) and cornerback William Jackson (knee) are both questionable to play after being limited in practice all week.
