Who's Playing, Who's Not vs. Cowboys

Posted Oct 12, 2012

A shoulder injury limited Haloti Ngata in practice all week, but he is likely to play.

Ngata Good To Go

Ravens defensive tackle Haloti Ngata was limited all week in preparation for Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.

However, the three-time Pro Bowler is listed as probable to play.

“I’m good, I’m ready to go,” Ngata told reporters Friday. “It’s something small. I fell down and messed up my shoulder.”

After no new injuries were reported following last week’s game in Kansas City, Ngata appeared on Wednesday’s report with a shoulder injury.

He hasn’t missed a game since 2009, when he sat out two contests. Ngata has 24 tackles and two sacks so far this year.

Head Coach John Harbaugh was not asked about Ngata’s injury.

Reid Practicing Fully

Second-year tackle Jah Reid had a full week of practice for the first time since early this summer.

Reid re-aggravated a camp calf injury in the Ravens’ second preseason game. He hasn’t been activated for a regular-season game yet this season.

Reid is listed as probable on the injury report, but it’s unknown if he’ll be ready to play in a full game or has a spot to step into. Even if he’s fully healthy, he could be left inactive.

It’s going to take a little bit to get back into football shape,” Reid said last week.

Cowboys Healthy, But Have Issues At Punter

The bye did the Cowboys good, as most of their players are healthy.

But they do have a problem at punter.

Brian Moorman (groin) has been ruled out. The other punter, Chris Jones (knee), is questionable. Starting center Ryan Cook (hamstring) is questionable, as is starting outside linebacker Anthony Spencer (shoulder).

It appears defensive end Jay Ratliff will return to the field for the first time this season. After going to the last four Pro Bowls, Ratliff has been sidelined by an ankle injury all year.

Defensive tackle Marcus Spears (knee), safety Matt Johnson (hamstring), center Phil Costa (back), defensive tackle Kenyon Coleman (knee), cornerback Morris Claiborne (knee), wide receiver Miles Austin (hamstring) and linebacker Alex Albright (neck) are probable.
