Pouncey Listed As Questionable, James Out
The biggest question for the Dolphins on the injury front is the status of Pro Bowl center Mike Pouncey (foot). He practiced on a limited basis during the week and is officially listed as questionable.
Dolphins Head Coach Dan Campbell indicated on Thursday that seeing the way Pouncey practiced made him more confident that the veteran lineman could play against the Ravens.
“I felt optimistic [Wednesday] and I certainly do now after watching him move and go through practice,” Campbell said. “I feel a lot better about him playing Sunday.”
The Dolphins, however, will be without starting right tackle Ja’Wuan James (toe). That could be an issue for their offensive line in slowing down outside linebacker ![]()
Miami has also ruled out defensive tackle Earl Mitchell (calf) and wide receiver Rishard Matthews (ribs). Wide receiver Kenny Stills (ankle) is the other lingering injury question, and he is listed as questionable.
Starting wide receiver Jarvis Landry was limited during practice because of a knee problem, but he is probable to play.
“I have no doubt that he’ll be fine on game day,” Campbell said about Landry. “We have to be smart with him and make sure that we take some reps off of him early in the week.”
