Who's Playing, Who's Not vs. Eagles

Safety Ed Reed is listed as probable; Eagles WRs are questionable.


Every Ravens player on the active roster except for tackle Jah Reid practiced Friday.

For strategic reasons, Head Coach John Harbaugh was expectedly mum on their availability for Sunday’s game in Philadelphia, however.

“I don’t really have any thought on it other than the busses will pull up at 1 o’clock, all of our guys will be there, they will get out of the bus and then we’ll see what happens,” Harbaugh said.

E. Reed, Birk Listed As Probable

It looks like Ravens safety Ed Reed will be suiting up against the Eagles.

Reed, who said he strained his hamstring in Monday night’s game, practiced fully Friday after two days of being limited, and is listed as probable for Sunday’s game.

Reed doesn’t have a history of missing games due to smaller injuries.

He played in all 16 games last year, despite dealing with shoulder issues late in the season. After coming off the physically unable to perform list in 2010, he played in the remaining 10 games. A neck injury knocked him out of four games in 2009. Prior to that, Reed started all 16 games for three years straight.

Center Matt Birk (thigh) is also listed as probable. He did not practice Wednesday, was limited Thursday and was a full practice participant on Friday.

Kruger Optimistic About Playing

Outside linebacker Paul Kruger (back) practiced for the first time this week on Friday, and is listed as questionable.

Asked if he’s optimistic about playing Sunday, Kruger said, “Yeah, absolutely.”

“I was able to run around today, felt a lot more comfortable,” Kruger said. “I’m hoping it loosens up even more before the game and I’ve got a couple days left.

“It’s getting better, so I think I’ll be full speed by Sunday.”

McPhee Expects To Play

Pernell McPhee’s knee is an issue, but not one that will hold him out of Sunday’s game, the defensive end says.

After not practicing Wednesday or Thursday, McPhee was limited on Friday. He is listed as questionable to play.

"I feel pretty good, I feel better," McPhee told reporters Thursday. "I expect to play Sunday."

McPhee had offseason surgery on the knee and missed much of the team’s organized team activities and minicamps. He played on Monday night and got a ½ sack, but had an ice pack on his knee afterwards.

Eagles Wide Receivers Banged Up

There are questions surrounding Philadelphia’s wide receiver corps.

Starting wide receivers DeSean Jackson (hamstring) and Jeremy Maclin (hip) are both listed as questionable. Riley Cooper (collarbone) has been ruled out.

Jackson and Maclin didn’t practice on Thursday, but both were back on the field Friday, albeit on a limited basis.

Last year, Jackson had 58 receptions for 961 yards and four touchdowns. Maclin had 63 catches for 859 yards and five touchdowns.

Cornerback Curtis Marsh (hamstring) is also questionable for Sunday. Safety Colt Anderson (knee), wide receiver Jason Avant (wrist), safety Kurt Coleman (facial lacerations) are probable.
