Dumervil Sidelined By ‘Preventative Procedure’

Dumveril, 32, started all 16 games last year and did not finish the season with an injury of note.
However, Head Coach John Harbaugh said Dumervil had a “preventative procedure” this offseason. He did not specify what part of the body the procedure was on.
“He had what has been termed as a preventative procedure, so he’s not ready to go in minicamp,” Harbaugh said. “He’ll be ready to go in training camp.”
Dumervil is expected to speak with media tomorrow to reveal more details.
For now, it sidelines the Ravens’ top two veteran pass rushers in Dumervil and ![]()

Suggs, Smith Sr., Flacco All Still Out

Flacco watched much of practice while sitting on a golf cart with Owner Steve Bisciotti.
Suggs, who has been working out and rehabbing at the Under Armour Performance Center, did not come out to practice. Smith was also in the building but did not attend practice.
Smith will speak to the media on Wednesday and Flacco will talk Thursday.
