The Baltimore Ravens and Baltimore Sun are teaming up again to present the Ravens RISE High School Football Showdown! Each week fans will vote on a game to be featured as the Ravens RISE High School Football Showdown and the winning game will receive $1,000 donations to their athletic departments, appearances by Ravens Cheerleaders, mascot, Poe and have their stadium outfitted in Ravens flags and banners. Ravens “Players on the RISE” don’t sit on the sidelines, they get in the game! Register for FREE and you will be eligible to participate in special promotions where you could meet Ravens players, win tickets to a Ravens game, or watch pregame warm-ups from the field at M&T Bank Stadium.
At halftime of all regular season Ravens home games, student-athletes from two area high schools will compete in the Ravens Halftime Combine, presented by T.Rowe Price. Participants will go head-to-head on the M&T Bank Stadium field against each other and the clock in a relay race competition of football skills and drills. Follow the competition results here all season long to see which school is awarded brand new Under Armour jerseys!
Each week during the high school football regular season, the Ravens honor a high school coach who has made a significant impact on his student-athletes. All 10 Coach of the Week winners receive a $2,000 donation to their school’s football program and an award from Ravens head coach John Harbaugh.
A national initiative led by USA Football to help make the sport of football better and safer, Heads Up Football seeks to educate coaches on concussion awareness, helmet fitting, heat and hydration, and Heads Up tackling and blocking. The Baltimore Ravens support Heads Up Football and recommend youth and high school football programs learn about the program to become Heads Up Football certified.
