  • Mon., Aug. 01, 2016 7:00 PM EDT Training Camp Military Appreciation Day The first M&T Bank Stadium practice will take place on Monday, Aug. 1 at 7 p.m. This practice – free and open to all fans – coincides with the Ravens’ annual Military Appreciation Day. Approximately 3,500 special seats will be reserved for active service members and veterans who present valid military identification upon check-in at the stadium.

Raymond Berry

 

Raymond Berry played for the Baltimore Colts from 1955-67. The 1973 Hall of Fame inductee caught a then-record 631 passes for 9,275 yards and 68 TDs in his career. Because of his average speed, it is said that the wide receiver came up with 88 different moves to elude defenders and get open for catches. That, along with his perfect route running and sure hands (he fumbled only once in 13 years), allowed Berry to team up with quarterback Johnny Unitas to become one of the greatest pass-catch duos in football.

Career Highlights

  • Was named All-Pro and led the NFL in receptions from 1958-60
  • Made five Pro Bowl appearances
  • In the 1958 NFL Championship, Berry caught a then-record 12 balls for 178 yards and a touchdown - one of the single greatest games of his career.
  • Retired as the NFL's all-time receptions leader
