Download 2011 Bio Update Rogers Gaines signed with the Ravens as a rookie free agent on 5/3/13...Played in 30 games (18 starts) during his four-year career along the Tigers’ O-line...Started eight games as a senior in 2012, earning a first-team All-Ohio Valley Conference honors as well as Associated Press first-team and The Sports Network second-team All-American accolades...Gaines did not allow a sack on the season and graded out at 93.6 percent...Was part of an O-line that finished fourth in the OVC in rushing (175.7 ypg)...Helped block for RB Trabis Ward, who rushed for a conference-best 1,422 yards and 15 TDs...Ward set season-highs with 267 rushing yards and 4 TDs in the win at Southeast Missouri...Earned a starting role as a junior in 2011, playing in 11 games (10 starts) along the O-line...Named second-team All-OVC after grading out between 86-90 percent in each contest...Led the Tigers O-line by averaging 6 “pancake” blocks per game...Helped pave the way for Ward, who had a team-high 978 rushing yards and 11 TDs...O-line helped block for an offense that produced 342 rushing yards and 2 TDs in the season-opening win against Southern...Appeared in eight games as a reserve during his sophomore campaign in 2010...
