The Baltimore Ravens Foundation and Ravens RISE stay committed to improving and enhancing the development of youth sports in the Baltimore-area. With the support of Under Armour, all youth & high school sports programs throughout Maryland are invited to apply for a Ravens Youth Sports Grant to outfit all youth sports players in their program in brand new Under Armour jerseys and cleats. Returning this year, Under Armour will provide packages containing sports bras for female-based programs. Also returning is the opportunity to be outfitted in Guardian Caps, soft shell football helmet covers engineered for impact reduction.

Additional grant packages will be awarded to qualifying programs through this grant and similar to years past, they could include Heat and Heart bundles containing an AED machine, ice immersion tub and hydration kit, or Field Equipment packages containing tackling dummies, distance chains, pylons and more.

As in past years, applications for grants must be submitted by program – not by team.

For example: the Baltimore Bearcats 8U, 12U, 14U, etc. would not apply for this grant, but the Baltimore Bearcats program as a whole would submit an application for consideration of all the players on all their teams to be awarded a grant.

Entering its 16th year, this grant has served over 9,500 area children providing them jerseys, cleats and other football accessories.

Grant Package(s) Descriptions:

• UA Jerseys - Receives new set football jerseys for the program
• UA Cleats - Receives a new set of cleats for the program (eligible for all sports)
• UA Sports Bras (eligible for all middle and high school girls' sports)
• Flag Football Starter Kits - Receives flag football start-up equipment (flags, balls, ball bags, etc.)
• Guardian Caps - Receives a set of impact reducing soft-shell helmet covers for the program (eligible for youth and high school football)
• Heat and Heart - Receives a new or refurbished AED with other hydration materials, followed by a CPR Training in June
• Field Equipment - Receives a selection of football equipment to purchase from Gilman Gear
• Other - Additional program needs that are not listed here.
