Press Release - Comcast SportsNet To Launch Weekly Ravens Offseason Show, Ravens Nest, On April 8, A

Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic, the region's leading source for multiplatform sports coverage, announced that a new weekly Baltimore Ravens offseason program, Ravens Nest, will launch on Sunday, April 8, at 9:30 p.m. The 18-week series will debut new episodes each Sunday at 9:30 p.m., with encores on Mondays at 5 p.m. and 12 a.m., through the beginning of NFL training camp in early August.

Hosted by Brent Harris, *Ravens Nest *will provide comprehensive news, exclusive interviews and special features surrounding the Ravens throughout the offseason. The half-hour program will cover the team through the remainder of free agency, the NFL draft, mini-camps and other team activities as they prepare for training camp and the upcoming NFL season. The show will also highlight offseason developments from AFC North rivals and from around the league.

The series' premiere will feature up-to-date team news and notes, an in-depth review of the Ravens' 2011 regular season and playoffs and an exclusive one-on-one interview with head coach John Harbaugh. The debut episode will also include feature segments on Ravens long snapper Morgan Cox, who was recently honored at the Ed Block Courage Awards, and Eric DeCosta, the team's longtime director of player personnel.

Comcast SportsNet will continue its complete offseason coverage of the Ravens and Redskins on Geico SportsNet Central, the network's daily news program, and team-related debate and commentary on its daily sports entertainment show, SportsTalk Live with Brian Mitchell and Ivan Carter. Redskins Nation, hosted by Larry Michael, also delivers daily Redskins coverage on weekdays throughout the year at 5:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.
