Ravens Announce Kickoff Party Entertainment Lineup

The entertainment lineup for the Ravens' Countdown to Kickoff Party, presented by Miller Lite, has been confirmed. On Thursday, Sept. 10 at Power Plant Live!, fans are invited to join former Ravens Jarret Johnson, Jamal Lewis and Adalius Thomas while enjoying a live concert featuring country singer/songwriter Jerrod Niemann and emerging rock bands The Struts and We are Harlot.

That night, the NFL kicks off its season with a primetime matchup featuring the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers (8:30 p.m. on NBC). Local affiliate and broadcast partner WBAL will broadcast live from the Ravens' event from 7-7:30 p.m., with special guest Ravens RB Justin Forsett.

Jerrod Niemann exploded onto the scene with his chart-topping major-label debut, 2010's "Judge Jerrod & The Hung Jury." Niemann, who is well known for his recent hits "Drink to That All Night" and "Donkey,"* *has also written songs for and with artists such as Garth Brooks, Blake Shelton and Lee Brice.

Breakout U.K. band The Struts is gaining a fast following in the U.S. with the hit "Could Have Been Me." The transcontinental four-piece band We Are Harlot is emerging onto the rock scene and is well known for recent hit "Someday."

The Countdown to Kickoff Party is free and open to those 21 and over.

Power Plant Live! is located at 34 Market Place, downtown just a few blocks from the Inner Harbor. Plenty of nearby parking is available with four parking garages all within a few blocks. Valet is also available.
