The Ravens are headed back to the beach for the second annual Ravens Ocean City Beach Bash, presented by Miller Lite.
The event was a smashing success last year, and with the Super Bowl champions and sunny skies in the forecast, it looks to be headed in the same direction.
Several Ravens players, coaches, cheerleaders, Playmakers, Poe, and talent from 98Rock and Miller Lite will turn Ocean City into Ravenstown from Thursday to Saturday.
Last year, players sang karaoke for fans, participated in the annual Ravens Roost Parade, hung out on the beach and took pictures and signed autographs outside team headquarters.
"It's an awesome time for players to connect with the fans and to just show that we're people too, not just athletes," said defensive lineman Arthur Jones, who participated last year.
"It was a great time to enjoy ourselves, let our hair down. It was a great time, great event and great experience. I advise everyone to go down there and enjoy some sun and some Ravens."
Jones was taken aback by the sheer amount of support from the Ravens faithful, and is hoping this year's players see even more love after winning Super Bowl XLVII.
"There were a lot of enthusiastic fans out there and fired up for their Ravens," Jones said. "It's awesome to see the love and support we get from this community."
This year's organized activities will include – but are not limited to – the Ocean City Purple Friday Caravan, live broadcasts with 98Rock, the annual Ravens Roosts parade, a bonfire and tailgate party at the Clarion Resort Fontainebleau Hotel, the M&T Bank Family Fun Night at Jolly Roger, and Miller Lite and Coke Zero Pub Crawls.
