Jamal Lewis' Super Bowl XLVII ring sold for $50,820 on Goldin Auctions.

Lewis is a former Ravens running back from 2000-2006, including a key member of the Super Bowl XXXV team.

He received a Super Bowl XLVII ring as a gift from Owner Steve Bisciotti because he's a member of the team's Ring of Honor.

On Monday, the Ravens released a statement on Lewis selling his ring:

"Jamal Lewis informed us that he was forced to sell the Super Bowl XLVII ring due to financial difficulties. We understand and respect his decision."
