UPDATE:Smith is at M&T Bank Stadium for tonight's game and took the field around 6 p.m. to get warmed up.

The brother of Baltimore Ravens WR Torrey Smith, 19-year-old Tevin Chris Jones, passed this morning after a motorcycle accident in West Moreland County in northeast Virginia.

Smith was notified at the Ravens' downtown Baltimore team hotel shortly after 1 a.m. and left immediately to be with his family.

Head coach John Harbaugh met with Torrey before he left the hotel and issued this statement:

"This is devastatingly sad, sad news. Torrey and his family are a close, special family, and our hearts and thoughts reach out to all of them. Our hearts ache today. We pray for Tevin, his mother, Torrey and the rest of the family. God bless Tevin."

Coach Harbaugh does not know if Smith will play against the Patriots tonight. "Torrey's priority is his family. We understand that completely."

Torrey is one of seven children of Monica Chante Jenkins. The Washington Post wrote a story on Dec. 26, 2010 that talks about Torrey and his family.
