Head Coach John Harbaugh
Opening statement:"We had a good practice, and hey, we're 48 hours away from the opener. So, everybody is excited. Guys are in great spirits and looking forward to the challenge of going down there and playing a very good Dolphins team."
How difficult will it be to make inactive determinations with a mostly healthy roster? _(Jamison Hensley) _"You've got to put seven guys down, so we'll just do it based on versatility and gameplan, really. I don't feel like there's anybody – to your point – there's nobody that we wouldn't want up. There's nobody that couldn't play and contribute. All 53 guys could play for us, so we'll just have to take the 46 that help us the most this week."
We didn't see WR Marquise Brown at practice. Did he have a setback? _(Childs Walker) _"No. No, he'll play in the game."
What has ILB Chris Board done to prove himself and show that he can handle more of the load? _(Aaron Kasinitz) _"He won the job. What more can I tell you than that? He earned it."
How much are you looking forward to having an impact back like RB Mark Ingram out on the field? _(Luke Jones) _"[I'm] very excited. Mark is a great leader. He's a great competitor. He's a proven back, an established, premier back in this league. You guys watch him every day. You know what he brings to the table. But not just Mark, I think the whole group – all three of those guys are going to be exciting to watch. So, we'll find out Sunday what it all looks like, but he's definitely going to be a big piece."
Did QB Robert Griffin III make progress today. Is he looking comfortable? _(Jeff Zrebiec) _"He looks good. I'd say he's ready to play as well. So, we'll see what we do there. Obviously, we could have two quarterbacks up or three. We'll have to make that decision."
What challenge do the three Dolphins' running backs present with their different running styles? _(Jamison Hensley) _"I think every team has that. You've got different guys that do different things. All three of their guys are capable of doing anything they do. They're all fast. They all can separate in the passing game. They all run in between the tackles, so we're not able to say, 'Hey, this guy will run these kind of plays; then this other back will run those kind of plays.' They just aren't built like that, so we can see any part of their offense with any of the backs in the backfield. The same could be said for the receivers, too, so we just have to play the schemes that they give us."
