Fales was a 2014 sixth-round pick of the Chicago Bears, where he spent his rookie season working with Ravens Offensive Coordinator and former Bears Head Coach Marc Trestman.
The San Jose State product has not seen any game action, as he was behind Jay Cutler and other Bears backups. He was waived during his rookie season before going back on the Bears practice squad. He was elevated to the active roster after the Patriots reportedly tried to sign him in 2014.
Fales played in two preseason games this year and went 8-for-18 for 99 yards and was sacked three times. He was released by the Bears during their final round of cuts. The Ravens needed a third quarterback to run the scout team.
Broxton is an undrafted 6-foot-3, 322-pound guard from Baylor. He is a local product from Olney, Md., where he played at Quince Orchard High School.
