Jersey Numbers Assigned To New Ravens

The new members of the Ravens have picked out jersey numbers for the 2016 season.

Safety Eric Weddle, tight end Benjamin Watson, wide receiver Mike Wallace and running back Trent Richardson all have their new Baltimore jersey numbers:

Here are the jersey numbers for the newcomers:

Weddle – 32

Watson – 82

Wallace – 12

Richardson – 33

Weddle, Watson and Richardson all took jersey numbers they have worn in the past with other teams. Wallace was the only free-agent addition to change numbers. He has worn No. 17 with the Vikings, Dolphins and Steelers, but that number was already taken in Baltimore by receiver Jeremy Butler.

Assigning numbers to the free-agency acquisitions led to a ripple effect on the rest of the roster. The Ravens had a handful of other players change numbers based on what the new free agents wanted and also what came available this offseason.

It is worth noting, however, that jersey numbers aren't finalized until the end of training camp. In most years, there are a few tweaks at the end of the summer once the 53-man roster is set.

Here are the new numbers for the players already on the roster:

WR Kaelin Clay – 16 (was 81)

TE Nick Boyle – 86 (was 82)

QB Jerrod Johnson – 8

WR Chris Matthews – 13 (was 84)

CB Sheldon Price – 27 (was 32)

TE Konrad Reuland – 85 (was 86)

RB Terrance West – 28 (was 27)

TE/WR Darren Waller – 84 (was 12)
