Ravens rookie left tackle Ronnie Stanley will have to sit against the Raiders due to an injured foot, and Baltimore is shaking things up at running back.

Will Stanley out, backup James Hurst will get the start versus Oakland and its outside pass rushers Khalil Mack and Bruce Irvin.

Hurst also started last year’s Week 2 game against the Raiders when Eugene Monroe was injured. The Ravens didn’t surrender a single sack and scored 33 points in a loss.

It will be the first game Stanley sits in more than four years. The No. 6-overall pick never missed a game at Notre Dame, a streak he was proud of.

The other major news is the deactivation of starting running back Justin Forsett, who is a healthy scratch. Forsett didn’t miss any practice this week.

The Ravens will instead give second-year runner Buck Allen a chance to play after being inactive for the first three games. Expect Terrance West to get the majority of the carries as the Ravens’ top back.

Forsett, 30, hasn’t been making defenders miss so far this season and is averaging just 3.2 yards per carry. The 2014 Pro Bowler’s longest run so far this season is 11 yards.

Rookie left guard Alex Lewis (concussion) is active, though the Ravens still could turn to Ryan Jensen or John Urschel with Lewis getting very limited practice this week. Urschel is active for the first time this season.

With the return of veteran pass rusher Elvis Dumervil, the Ravens scratched rookie fifth-round outside linebacker Matthew Judon, who has been solid but has yet to notch a sack.

Baltimore’s other inactives are cornerback Sheldon Price (thigh), cornerback Will Davis, rookie running back Kenneth Dixon (knee) and rookie defensive tackle Willie Henry.

The Raiders will be without both of their right tackles, starter Manelik Watson and backup Austin Howard. Their other scratches are quarterback Connor Cook, safety Nate Allen, running back Taiwan Jones, cornerback Antonio Hamilton and tackle Matt McCants.
