Let's Hit The Restart Button

The first week of the season didn't go exactly as planned, so now what? Hang up the cleats? Call it quits? Give up?

Oh Fortuna plays softly in the background

Not this team. While so many organizations collapse under the pressure, we thrive on it. The Ravens feed on doubt, we bask in adversity, this is exactly what we needed. With every spot dropped in the power rankings, this team gets hungrier. The league has no idea what kind of monster they're dealing with.

Yes, the Ravens lost an incredible player this week. Terrell Suggs is a leader in the locker room and a force to be reckoned with on the field. No one man can replace his production, it's going to take effort from everyone on the defense. But it certainly helps when Ozzie finds another awesome pass rusher to throw into the mix. Welcome to the flock, Mr. Babin.

It's Time To Hunt

In the spirit of looking forward, let's look 3 hours back:

The Ravens have spent the entire week on the West Coast preparing for the Raiders, and while every road game presents its share of problems, you can rest assured that we're going to be ready.

The Raiders will have to prepare for a team that historically rebounds well after a loss. They're facing the most battle-tested group in the league and a defense that looks downright horrifying on tape.

Admittedly, I was a little off with my score prediction last week, so it's redemption time. The score of this game will unquestionably, absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt, be:

Ravens: 24
Raiders: 10

Feel free to leave your score predictions below. I will laugh heartily at your attempts to out-predict me. I am all-knowing and all-powerful (starting now).

Thanks for reading, everyone! I'll leave you with this 100% accurate glimpse into the future:
