Each team may be down a starting wide receiver Sunday when the Ravens face the Bengals in Cincinnati.
Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman is questionable to play after he didn't practice Friday due to ankle injury. Bateman was added to the injury report Thursday as a limited participant.
"We'll have to see how it looks tomorrow and into Sunday," Head Coach John Harbaugh said. "It's just a nagging thing. It's an ankle sprain. You fight through it, you fight through it, and you can annoy it, I guess is the best way to say it."
If Bateman can't play Sunday, that would open up more opportunities for veteran DeAndre Hopkins and second-year speedster Devontez Walker. Harbaugh and Offensive Coordinator Todd Monken have said this week that they want to get Hopkins more involved.
Tight end Mark Andrews, who also popped up on Thursday's report with a glute injury, was back on the field Friday and is set to play.
Ravens outside linebacker Tavius Robinson (foot) and safety Ar'Darius Washington (Achilles) are questionable and would need to be activated to the 53-man roster on Saturday to play. The Ravens currently only have 51 players on the roster, so there's room for them to move up without making a cut.
Robinson has missed the past seven games due to a foot injury and Washington could make his season debut after suffering an Achilles injury in May.
"I think they've looked good," Harbaugh said. "We will talk to the trainers and things like that – the docs – but they've looked good to me."
Bengals Star WR Tee Higgins to Miss Ravens Again
For the Bengals, star wide receiver Tee Higgins will be ruled out due to a concussion, per Head Coach Zac Taylor. Higgins practiced on a limited basis two days this week, but sat out Friday.
Higgins, who had 92 receiving yards and two touchdowns last week in Buffalo, also didn't play against the Ravens two weeks ago because of a concussion. He's played just two games against the Ravens in the past three regular seasons.
First-round rookie pass rusher Shemar Stewart (knee) is doubtful to play, along with backup safety PJ Jules (ankle). Star defensive end Trey Hendrickson is out for the remainder of the season.
