Eight Ravens, including six starters, are not practicing Wednesday as they prepare to take on the New York Jets, headlined by quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Jackson also missed the first practice of last week due to knee soreness. He returned to full participation the following days and had no injury designation heading into the win in Cleveland.

The other Ravens starters not present at the start of practice were safety Kyle Hamilton, linebacker Roquan Smith, left tackle Ronnie Stanley, left guard Andrew Vorhees, and wide receiver Rashod Bateman (ankle). Tight end Isaiah Likely and cornerback Keyon Martin were also not present.

In good news, cornerback Marlon Humphrey returned to practice with his left hand wrapped after missing all of last week following finger surgery. On Monday, Head Coach John Harbaugh said he's "optimistic" about Humphrey's chances of playing against the Jets.

Running back Justice Hill (toe) is also practicing after missing the game in Cleveland.

Martin (chest) stayed overnight in a Cleveland hospital following the Ravens' win and his first career sack. Though tests came back negative, Harbaugh said the Ravens would see how he progresses.

Bateman missed the game in Cleveland. Hamilton and Smith played 100% of the snaps in Cleveland, so they may just be getting rest days. Stanley has taken some rest days the past couple of weeks. It's the first practice Vorhees has missed all season.
